Rashtriya Rajput Karni Sena Chief Sukhdev Singh Gogamedi (Sukhdev Singh Gogamedi) was killed. The assailants fired at him in Jaipur, the capital of Rajasthan. The bike-borne assailants barged into Sukh Dev’s house and opened fire on him. He was seriously injured in this firing. He lost his life on the way to the hospital.
On receiving the information, the police reached the spot. A case has been registered and investigation is underway. Heavy police cordon was formed at Sukh Dev’s residence. Police said one of Sukhdev’s security personnel was injured in the firing. Police have launched a manhunt for the accused. CCTV footage is being examined at the scene.
Threatening calls have been coming for some time saying that Sukh Dev will be killed. Sampath Nehru of Lawrence Bishnoi gang is getting calls to the police saying that Sukh Dev will be killed. Union Minister Gajendra Singh Shekawat has expressed deep dismay over this incident. He asked the police to arrest the accused immediately.
Sukhdev Singh wished his soul to rest in peace. He expressed his deepest condolences to the family members. People should not worry. He said that the BJP government is taking the reins in the state and once they take the reins of power, they will rid the state of crime.
In the wake of differences with Rashtriya Karni Sena, he formed another organization named Rashtriya Rajput Karni Sena.
